DuPont™ Kevlar® gloves are used for general purpose work applications to provide cut and abrasion resistance, using high performance yarns to further protect the hands when working with sharp objects.  The 9784IKO nitrile coated work gloves feature a thin layer of abrasion resistant nitrile and a 13-gauge DuPont™ Kevlar® shell making this a good option for jobs where nicks and cuts are a concern.  This glove also provides good contact heat protection, achieving a contact heat score of Level 4 for applications less than 500º Fahrenheit.  Looking for the best cut resistant work gloves?  Look no further than MCR Safety!

ANSI/ISEA 105:2016 Standard, ASTM F1060 - 18 Standard Test Method for Evaluation of Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance.  Conductive heat ratings measure the highest contact temperature for which the time to second-degree burn is at least 15 seconds and the alarm time is at least four seconds.

Gauge

Knitted Gloves and sleeves are made with yarn that range from 7 gauge to 21 gauge.  The lower the gauge of a yarn the thicker the glove will be.  The higher the yarn’s gauge the thinner the glove will be, which allows for ultimate dexterity.
